Maybe it's time to upgrade our transportation system - meaningfully

I was just thinking.. what could have caused the guy to behave so irrationally?

Just then, someone close gave me an idea: "What do you think a guy would do if his girlfriend told him that she slept with someone else while they were waiting for the MRT?"

You guys should know what is the moral of the story (Just in case I get misquoted, I'm not saying that that was what actually happened - It's just food for thought).

I think we should really start petitioning for the installation of glass doors (similar to those in underground stations) for all MRT stations. This is not the first time people have fallen onto the tracks (be it accidentally or otherwise). I seriously don't mind the price hike - At least this time round, it would be justifiable.

P.S. I find it ironic that the security of a minority is more important than the safety of the majority.

On 1 end we say singaporeans always kana babysitted. On the other hand we ask some1 else to be responsible for our own safety. Are we really saying singaporeans cannot be responsible for ourselves and need rules/gates etc etc to take care our own safety. Whereas people in developed countries do not need all these coz they answer for their own safety. sad. :(
