Some of you have reflected in your comments that you would like to help with the maintenance of this site. I would be delighted to have you all do that, considering how busy it will be for me for this period of time. I envision an alternative site to tomorrow.sg where sites like mine and many others could be heard. As you all know, xiaxue is currently one of the editors at tomorrow.sg so any site deemed to bear content that is unfavorable to her (such as mine) would never be featured there. I know this because I have received a lot of emails from readers who submitted my entries to tomorrow.sg only to find that they are not featured.
I welcome anyone who wants to help me out with this site - you can send me an email, specifying your area of expertise (technical skills - website programming, writing skills, editing skills etc). I also welcome any contributions to this site. I myself know that I am not the one who keeps this site alive - It is the readers, those who comment, who contribute, who dare to take positions and stand by them. Someone said in one of the comments that "It is the comments that help keep this site alive". I am sure most people will agree with that.
To end on a *sweet* note, here's a picture sent in by Edwin, one of my faithful readers. Those who have watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will get the inside joke.

Let me just start off by saying that I am definitely not a fan of XX. I read her site occasionally, not because I enjoy it but because it is much like being unable to tear your eyes away from a car crash. I do skim some of the most popular Singaporean blogs, because a little more information never hurt anyone, and okay, sometimes they damn funny, right?
When I first came upon your site, I thought you were hilarious. I agreed with many of the comments and observations you made about various Singaporean bloggers. But, a few hours later, I happened to venture upon your site again, and for some reason, it didn't seem hilarious this time around.
Now, I'm not a prude, so don't tell me to bend over and take that stick out of my butt yet. I'm just wondering what your intentions are for setting up this blog. Do you want XX and SPG and the likes of them to tone down the controversial nature of their posts? Or shut down their blogs? I'm not too clear because you have been criticising all along, but at the same time, you campaign for free speech.
While it is a useful shield to hide behind - as you yourself have pointed out many times when XX or Kenny Sia et al have been guilty of it - I don't quite understand its purpose. It's supposed to be a tool for a better society. But I don't quite understand what your purposes and intentions are.
At the end of the day, I'm just bogged down by all the negativity. I'm a very big advocate of letting-people-do-what-they-want. So what if XX is obscenely popular, and for no good reason? Then it is the fault of her readers for not having enough brain matter to figure out that a lot of what she posts about is biased and prejudiced. I'm not blind, and being half-Malay and a Muslim myself, I have been offended by her posts several times. But there is really no point plastering deformed, lagi-Photoshopped pictures of her all over your blog. What purpose does that serve?
Again, I concede your posts, blogs and even deformed XX photos are farny as fark. But the negativity is a little too heavy, and it makes the minority of us (i.e. the intelligent ones) look like we're 'jealous' of her blog. So what if she's getting paid for endorsements and spouting off racist remarks. Let the police step in if it's something damn serious. Otherwise, let her be. Let her act cute. The people who matter, i.e. you and me and the rest with half a brain, will know without needing a hate site to tell us. Don't make us look bad.
I'm the Fucking Rebel who had posted one time using super profused vulgarities in that XX's blog. Not that I can't comment normally, but my pure intention was just give those bunch of spoilt brats of their own medicine and let them get the feel of how they will feel when uses so much vulgarities. But I also had posted two other comments without using any vulgarities.
But then guess what? All were being deleted by that bloddy bitch.
I questioned why is she still running free when she made so many racists remarks and even remarks against other religions. I question her integrity when she goes around giving speeches in schools and polys about blogging and how to blog properly, and yet, she is doing the very things they tell others not to do. It just shows that what kind of person she really is.
So now I can confirmed plus chop that she is one bloody hypocrite. And she don't 'walk the talk'. She can't accept critisms!

i think that anonymous who said everyone here is jealous and related free speech to racist,thus hate speech means that xlx is practicing hate speech himself, but is against someone doing it.
that anon is not a fan of xx, he thinks xx is racist, but condones the action of xlx because xlx is actually "jealous" and bitter enough to write something so mean about someone.
that makes xlx a hypocrite, because on one hand, xlx claims to be advocating free speech, when he is in fact also promoting hate speech. when xx, whom he despises, come up with hate speech (i.e. racist remarks), he gives her the no-no, and wants to bring her down because it's just oh-so-convenient to point fingers that she is racist, and his precious free speech is being attacked (when he was the one abusing free speech). am i right?
oh, not all anti-xlx messages must be from xx fans. those of you whom claim to be "intelligent ones who think others are like so dumb" should know. it's like the whole bush and kerry election. just because you don't like bush means you MUST like kerry right?
maybe it's just something wrong about having all those rude pictures of xx that really got to us. no one that evil deserves that, think about it. if this blog was as well-written as simple sandra's, maybe it will go down with people better. i myself, enjoy her reads. to the point, and always intelligent, without being malicious.

Firstly, Xiaxue has been called "racist" (or "insensitive to the issue of race") for the remarks she makes--not just in the KL article, but also other instance (like when she switched Singapore's lion with a pig). So, criticism, however harsh, directed at her isn't hardly what I'd call hate speech.

Yes, I remember him; I remember a certain Choo Wee Khiang too. Both got off too lightly for my liking (esp. the latter). But they DID retract their statements and apologised (whether they were really sincere or not is another matter). Xiaxue, on the other hand, feels it's her divine right as a blogger to continue spouting off her racist views, and more.
As for Chua Cheng Zhan being a role-model, I doubt many people even recall his name now, nevermind before the fiasco.

I took a break from the blogosphere for 1 year and get back to read three recent entries from the supposedly best asian blog by Miss XiaXue and realised she didn't grow up a bit! Still an emotionally unstable and intellectually lacking kid. Pawwed!! The power of arrogance can really make one stopped growing. Pathetic!!
Xiaxue is digging her own graveyard at a rapid pace. She should just stick to blogging about her friends and her own ignorant bitchy life and stop pushing the boundaries of those issues that are not a concern of hers.
She isn't really one who can come up with good argumentative writing. To write argumentative essay, one has to be able to think from various angles but how can a self-centered and arogant specie like her able to do so?
