Update: Various sources have confirmed that the man pushed the woman onto the tracks as a train was approaching. The woman got out of the way and onto the railing area just in time, escaping what could potentially be a tragic incident.
This just in:
A woman was apparently pushed down onto the MRT Track at Clementi MRT Station by her malaysian boyfriend after a quarrel. The boyfriend was stopped from fleeing the scene by passengers. Train services were delayed on the east-west/west-east lines. According to eye witness reports from EDMW, a fight broke out between the man who pushed the woman onto the tracks and witnesses at the scene. The story has yet to be reported by the mainstream media.
